Mary S. Roberts Pet Adoption Center does not euthanize animals for time or space. We are also incredibly lucky to have our community’s support and the resources to treat many injuries and illnesses and modify or manage a variety of behavior challenges. However there are times when euthanasia is the humane, responsible, and necessary option due to quality of life concerns or when animals pose a significant risk of injury to other animals or people. Please share your thoughts about euthanasia:

Robert Pet Adoption Center, its Trustees, Executive Director, employees, agents, and assigns harmless from any and all liability on account of any personal injury, which I, my family members, or my pets may sustain while fostering an animal or animals for the Mary S. Roberts Pet Adoption Center. I acknowledge that I participate freely and of my own volition and understand the risk associated with my participation, as it may involve animals both known and unknown to me. This release extends to all personal injuries sustained by me, my family members, my guests, and my pets. I assume responsibility for my own conduct and behavior while participating in this foster care program, whether I am on Pet Adoption Center property or offsite. I also hold the Mary S. Roberts Pet Adoption Center, its Trustees, Executive Director, employees, agents, and assigns harmless from any damage to my personal belongings or apartment/home caused by the animal(s) I am fostering. I agree to abide by all rules and regulations set forth by the Foster Care Program, written, spoken, and implied. I understand that I volunteer on an “At Will” basis. I or the Mary S. Roberts Pet Adoption Center are free to end my status as a foster at any time, for any reason, with or without cause and with or without notice.
