Every Pet Has a Place

From playful puppies and curious cats to senior companions and one-of-a-kind pets, every pet has a place — in our homes, in our hearts, and in the 2027 Mary S. Roberts Pet Adoption Center Pet Calendar.

Our annual Pet Photo Calendar Contest is a celebration of the animals who bring joy to our lives and a meaningful way to support pets still waiting for their second chance. Every photo entered, every vote cast, and every special date reserved helps provide care for pets at the Pet Adoption Center while they wait for homes of their own.

Contest Dates: May 18 – September 25
Entry Fee: $10 per pet
Voting: $1 per vote
Reserve a Day: $15 per date

How to Participate

There are several ways to join the fun. You can enter your pet, vote for your favorites, or reserve a special date in the calendar to honor a pet you love.

Enter Your Pet

Show off your favorite companion by submitting a photo of your pet.

Entry fee: $10 per pet
Open to: Dogs, cats, and other companion animals
How it works: Share your pet’s contest page and encourage friends and family to vote.

Pets entered in the contest have the opportunity to be featured in the 2027 Pet Calendar, including the cover and monthly calendar spreads.

Vote for Your Favorites

See a pet who makes you smile? Cast a vote and help them climb the leaderboard.

$1 = 1 vote

You can vote for your own pet, a friend’s pet, or any participating pet you want to support. Every vote is a donation that helps provide food, shelter, medical care, enrichment, and second chances for animals at the Mary S. Roberts Pet Adoption Center.

Reserve a Day in the Calendar

Not every pet needs to compete to be celebrated.

With Reserve a Day, you can give your pet a guaranteed place in the 2027 Pet Calendar by selecting a meaningful date, such as a birthday, adoption day, memorial date, or any day you would like to honor your pet.

Reserve a Day: $15 per date
One pet per date
Dates are available on a first-come, first-served basis
No competition or fundraising required

Put Your Business in the Spotlight—and Help Homeless Pets

New this year, local businesses can be featured in the Mary S. Roberts Pet Adoption Center calendar while helping provide care and second chances for homeless pets.

For a $100 contribution, your business will receive a Calendar Business Spotlight in one of only 12 available spaces. Each spotlight will appear in the open area of a calendar month and may include:

• Business name
• A short message or description
• Website, phone number, or social media information
• A small business logo

Your purchase also includes one complimentary calendar.

Approximately 100 calendars are purchased and shared throughout our community each year. More importantly, every spotlight helps support the animals and programs of Mary S. Roberts Pet Adoption Center.
