The purpose of the Eagle Project is to give the Scout an opportunity to “plan, develop, and give leadership to others,” as noted in the requirement. Eagle Scout projects are evaluated on the benefit to the organization being served and on the leadership provided by the candidate. There must also be evidence of organized planning and development.

At Mary S. Roberts Pet Adoption Center, we offer a variety of Eagle Scout Service Projects. If you are interested in knowing more information on any of the projects below, please contact our Humane Educator at  or 951.688.4340 ext. 3325.

• Build a Catio so our feline residents can enjoy some outside time of the cattery.
• Build Celebration Chime Structures to hang windchimes on for fundraising. 
• Build an Outdoor Shade Structure for our canine play yard(s) (three available) so volunteers and dogs can have shade on warm days.
• Build Garden Beds outside our humane education learning center for students to learn. 
• Install Concrete/Turf in Play Areas to make it easier for staff, volunteers and resident dogs to walk to the paly yards.
• Build a Pond for MSRPAC resident turtles.
• Build/Install Metal Shelving inside our feline ring-worm ward.
